I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, USA.

My lab focuses on diet, particularly precision nutrition, and the gut microbiome, applying epidemiologic and advanced statistical approaches to improve cancer prevention and prognosis at the foremost institution for cancer care and research.

Previously, I earned my Ph.D. in Population Health Sciences (Epidemiology) from the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, focusing on cancer and nutritional epidemiology. I completed my postdoctoral fellowship jointly in the Clinical and Translational Epidemiology Unit (CTEU) at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Huttenhower lab at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where I investigated the gut microbiome and leveraged multi-omic approaches in clinical research.
